Summer has just turned the page; autumn is a lovely read – but the march of winter cometh and it depresseth me. ‘The Winter Project’ is at attempt to learn and incorporate the ideas of winter lovers, or those with experience of much harsher conditions into my own home and outlook. Some friends sent me ideas last winter, and the year before – such simple ideas can make such a difference. The favourite ideas so far revolve around fairy lights and scented candles.
