Conviction and condemnation can feel the same if conviction never gets acted on.
Conviction always has a way forwards. Condemnation keeps us weighted and chained.
Conviction is a touch from God, condemnation a hand around the ankle from hell.
Conviction is the Spirits whisper to be more like Jesus, condemnation makes you forget Jesus paid for you to be free.
We are masters in the art of dodging both. Forever running, filling, replacing, chasing, fixing and missing the stillness He has for us.
“Be still and KNOW that I am God” (Ps 46:10)
“For the one whom the Lord loves rests between His shoulders” (Deut 33:12)
What if acting on conviction is the gateway to that stillness of heart…?
What if the putting off of conviction is the very thing holding you in chains…?
What if the conviction gateway takes you to freedom…?
Is there something He’s whispered to you you’re avoiding?
He’ll go with you you know.
Conviction is the Spirits whisper to be more like Jesus, condemnation makes you forget Jesus paid for you to be free.
