It is so much easier to wish
– that someone else would change
– or that circumstances would change
Than it is to change oneself.
If we know some things about ourselves
– that we can change
– that we know should change
and that we refuse…
How can we expect change in others?
Some years ago – about 20 – my sister came to speak with me about a particular teaching she could see me disappearing down the trail of – and she was concerned. I was ironing and she was making cuppas I think, when she began the topic she wanted to discuss.
