A log called Gossip

The date on my original notes for the topic of this post is March 2003. It was a session presented with my friend and mentor Joan Grosser and in those days we thought and spoke in such similar terms that when I read those notes now, I can rarely tell our words apart.

The topic was gossip.
The audience was about 50 women.
And the effect of it was both electric and long term.

I still have conversations with women today who were there that night and who make reference to the content.

I remember on that night in 2003, breaking into small groups for discussion. It was a night where many came under conviction and made U turns in the days that followed having had light shone into some dark places. Repentance can sting – but then we get to be free.

I’ve been going to re-work these notes ever since starting this website, but it’s big and I write differently now so what I’ve been doing the last few days is just taking some of the ideas and turning them into graphics. I will probably update the graphics more over time so if you receive a new notification with the same title – check for more content. ๐Ÿ™‚

Each image is a message in itself – they appear here though as concepts to build from one to the next etc.

Please feel free to save and share these graphics – they are designed to suit both Instagram and Facebook.

By the way – if you read these posts wishing that someone else would get the message – you’ll miss the point of the title ๐Ÿ™

  1. The dandelion one is the message l recall the most. Iโ€™m almost sure l was there that night but if not l know Iโ€™ve heard you and or Joan speak these truths. Loving these short bites to challenge the heart and soul.

  2. Wow, these are fantastic thought-provokers as well as so very attractive. It is so true that there are no secrets – it is all heard in the heavenlies and broadcast in eternity; so easy to forget this. But which one made me stop and think the most? Probably ‘Be wise โ€ฆ Check your motives’. Well, I’d like to order a set of coasters please! So then I’ll be able to sit and think and shuffle them over continually and maybe discuss with others who use them too โ€ฆ.. (?)
