There is something I quite like about the show “Undercover Boss”. I like seeing how he is treated and I like seeing the respect (or lack of) displayed either way between the Boss and the employees.
I totally love the shock of the “big reveal” – the stunned silence followed by the excited clamour, and I love the changes that get implemented and the kind things he does once he’s got to know the stories, lives and difficulties of the employees. There is a different kind of knowing that comes from experience on the ground level.
There’s a sliver of similarity to Jesus arrival in Bethlehem.
