Passover-Easter-Communion series 5/8

FICTIONALISATION

“I hear His name on the breeze – Yeshua HaMashiach. Jesus our Messiah. I know you’ll be here somewhere.

People are running. Voices shouting. “Yeshua HaMashiach. Hosannah to the Son of David! Blessed is HE who comes in the name of the Lord!”

Weeping, He entered our city while the commotion gathered around Him.

Weeping, He passed by the doorway where we stood crammed and craning to hear and see… “Jerusalem, Jerusalem”, His broken voice. I longed to go to Him even more than before. He’s right. We’ve stoned the prophets and hated His messengers. What now?

Our Passover lamb is paid for and chosen. Our men will return to collect it after the days of inspection.

Yeshua the Lamb of God also put Himself under inspection… again He turned out the money changers… again the beggar children scrambled for the money as the tables went flying… again His anger, no longer His tears as He shouted within ‘His father’s” house.

Leaven. So much leaven. And this the kind that is so much harder to clean away. The Priests wont take their eyes off Him for a moment. He surely isn’t safe.”
