Wrong interpretation but perfect illustration

Sitting down to lunch with a friend recently, we were talking about how we need to pay attention to our feelings, but to be careful how we interpret them as if we interpret incorrectly, we can make damaging decisions and false moves.

As the waitress left, my friend reached her hand toward me and still in full sail on my topic I vaguely thought it a bit odd… she could reach the food as well as I could, but being a helpful friend I put a piece of pizza in her hand. She looked at it, and looked at me, and laughed – and said – “I was going to say grace!”

So we did.

We held hands and said grace and laughed a bit more.

But it was a perfectly timed example of a false move following on from a wrong interpretation! 🙂 🙂
